Manual installation

Four steps to install.

Chrome's Developer Mode lets you install extensions directly from your computer without going through the Web Store.

Download and unzip the file
Click the Download ZIP button above. Once downloaded, right-click the file and choose "Extract All" (Windows) or double-click (Mac) to unzip it.

Open Chrome Extensions
In Chrome, go to chrome://extensions in the address bar (or click the three-dot menu → More Tools → Extensions).

Enable Developer Mode
In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle Developer mode on. This enables the "Load unpacked" button.

Load the extension
Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped BUCKS folder (the one that contains manifest.json). BUCKS will appear in your extensions list immediately.

Download v1.0.2
Download the new ZIP using the button above. Unzip to a new folder — do not overwrite the old one yet.

Remove the previous version
Go to chrome://extensions, find BUCKS, and click Remove. Your earnings data is stored on the server — removing the extension does not delete it.

Load v1.0.2
Click Load unpacked and select the new v1.0.2 folder (the one containing manifest.json). Sign back in — your balance carries over automatically.
ℹ️What's new in v1.0.2
v1.0.2 is a CWS readiness release. Changes: security header hardening (CSP, CORS, CSRF), improved error handling with structured error codes, enhanced observability logging, additional redirect guardrails for sensitive Amazon pages, commission tracking admin tools, and kill switch banner improvements. No changes to permissions, data collection, or cashback calculations.

What BUCKS actually does.

Affiliate link management
When you visit an eligible Amazon.com product page, BUCKS applies an affiliate tag to the URL. This is the same mechanism used by millions of product review sites — BUCKS just shares the commission with you instead of keeping it.

Estimated cashback
After a purchase, Amazon reports the confirmed commission to us (usually 60–90 days later). We distribute the agreed portion to your BUCKS balance. Amounts are estimates until Amazon confirms. Your price is never affected.
🔒
Amazon.com only, nothing else
BUCKS only runs on https://*.amazon.com. It is completely inactive on every other website. No browsing history is captured or stored.
